Transport Minister Aishath Nahula, during the launch of ‘Transport Online,’ highlighted the substantial convenience this innovation brings to the public. She underscored the global shift towards digitalization and praised the collaborative efforts within the country to embrace this technological advancement.
Ali Solih, the Minister of State for Transport, emphasized the significance of this newly established online system, emphasizing its role in fostering improved communication between the ministry and the public. Solih noted that starting from the launch date, most services would be accessible online, reducing the necessity for physical visits to the ministry, except for specific cases mandating in-person document submissions.
