The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) has published new Certificate of Competency (COC) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) formats under Advisory No. 2021-65. (COP) on 18th November 2021.

The said format change, which took effect on November 9, 2021, was already communicated with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) on November 4, 2021, with a request that it be also disseminated to all IMO member states, Intergovernmental Organizations, and Non-Governmental Organizations in Consultative Status.
