MNDF advises vessel owners and Masters to obtain the most recent weather reports before planning their passage, as the weather forecast calls for strong winds and heavy seas for the rest of the day.
This includes required life-saving equipment, bilge pumping system, communication equipment, and others. Small boats should also avoid navigating during the hours of darkness.
