A Mediterranean Shipping Company containership looks to have become stranded on the breakwater in the Italian port of Gioia Tauro.

According to AIS data from MarineTraffic.com, the 340-meter-long MSC Elaine was leaving the port when it allegedly veered wide on a turn and grounded along a breakwater at the harbor’s entrance shortly after 9 a.m. Monday.

The ship is shown in photos and videos with its starboard bow up against the southern barrier, with many tugs assisting.
