STCW Basic Training Refresher Courses having a practical component

Specific forms must be utilized for both sorts of attestations (will be provided).
In the case of self-attestation by the seafarer, the validity of the certificate issued is subject to submission of proof of practical training within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the certificate by the Liberian Registry, either by attestation as previously mentioned (signed by Master, Chief Mate, Chief Engineer, or DPA) or in realistic training conditions in a specialized training center; d) All parts of the practical training; If any portion of the practical training is not confirmed, the Registry may consider issuing a certificate, but only for a one-year period; and e) the Liberian Registry may suspend granted certificates if the requirements indicated above are not satisfied.
